E3 2011: Dragon’s Dogma hands-on (Dragon's Dogma)
brightcove.createExperiences(); Christ, I was under the assumption that Dragon’s Dogma was just gonna be Resident Evil 4 with swords… And yes, that alone was enough to earn applause from me. The early, over-the-shoulder trailer, the involvement of Devil May Cry 3 and RE4’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi… but it’s actually a whole lot more than that. The combat system is miles beyond those last-gen pedigrees, and even as someone who prefers horror and hard sci-fi, I had a fantastic time slaying mythical hellbeasts with my sword and shield.
