This may be the least practical gaming headset we've ever seen, but it earns a million stars for its creativity - it's made from an actual '80s military helmet.
The modder, who goes by the handle el8id, said he bought the helmet, which was issued to helicopter pilots, for $22 at a thrift store. The helmet already contained headphones and a microphone, but el8id replaced those parts with modern technology, and added Bluetooth. Some of the original wiring, however, remains intact.
Oh, and by the way, because it's Bluetooth, the helmet can also be paired up with a mobile phone, but we don't recommend walking down the streets wearing a helmet and talking to yourself.
