It's commonly accepted wisdom that the one demographic sure to love gimmicky motion-control games is the elderly – why else would they be featured in so many adverts? However, long-running YouTube series Will It Blend?, which bestows legitimacy on newfangled doodads by shredding them beyond recognition, sees beloved old-person Tom Dickson strike a blow against the stereotype.
In the series' latest installment, the gleefully destructive Dickson professes his fondness for Kinect's ability to pack a workout into clumsy grandpa-dancing. His appetite for destruction quickly takes over, however – and before you know it, the Kinect's reduced to a smoky pile of pulverized carbon indistinguishable from any other expensive piece of aspirational electronics.

Dickson closes the segment with a wink to achievement-junkies: “Looks like I don't get extra points for destroying the sensor!” Told u he was hardcore.
