WoW sells pet for Japan relief (World of Warcraft: Cataclysm)

While the quake and tsunami that hit Japan in March has faded from the news cycle, many of the disaster's victims are still struggling. Blizzard hasn't forgotten. 100% of the proceeds from the newest critter in the WoW pet store, the Cenarion Hatchling, will go to the  American Red Cross's Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief effort.

This particular pet is a twin of the rare Hippogryph Hatchling pet that players could obtain in the World of Warcraft collectible card game. However, you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars on cardboard in order to procure the Cenarion- the $10 adoption fee will suffice.
