Welcome to the stage of naming history. In its efforts to promote Soulcalibur V, Namco Bandai is giving fans the chance to get their name in the game.
To enter, head to the official contest site. You’ll need to submit your name, which doesn’t necessarily have to be your name, your favorite weapon fighting style, and answer a few questions to determine your character’s personality. Winners will get to see their names appear over CPU opponents when Soulcalibur fans with no friends fight against the game's AI all by their lonesome next year.
Speaking to GamesRadar at E3 2011, producer Hisaharu Tago said the team’s goal is to make Soulcalibur V “faster, lighter, and more elegant.” You can see screenshots of new characters Pyrrha and Patroklos with a teaser for the upcoming fighter here.
